Orem, CO USN Germany; Maj Gen Lemuel Matthewson, CG US Forces, Berlin, and other officers step on review stand where they salute as civilian and service photogs take still and motion pictures. Seq: Ridgway and Handy walk on field in inspection of Army, Navy and AF contingents in formation. They cross field in return to review stand. Chrome-helmeted colored soldiers of EUCOM Honor Guard, the 557th Inf Plat, perform precision close order drill. Seq: Officers look on from review stand. Sixteen F-84 jets of 12th AF fly by in salute. EUCOM Honor Guard, USN Rhine River Patrol platoon, Air Police platoon and 427th Army Band pass in review.
